Post inauguration, BJP, PMK, DMDK, TMC and parties in the AIADMK alliance held a meeting in which TN Ministers Sengottayan, Karuppanan and Udumalai KnRadhakrishnan took part.
A comprehensive discussion was convened to chart plans to make the AIADMK candidate MSM, Anandan victorious in the upcoming lok sabha elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sengottaiyan mentioned that "It was the Central BJP government under Narendra Modi which curtailed Pakistani terrorists infiltrating into India. Neither Narasimha Rao or Manmohan Singh who led the previous Congress governments were unable to do this. And, that's the reason Narendra Modi is winning laurels across the globe".
The Minister added, "Similar to the Athikadavu-Avinashi project, Godavari cauvery scheme will also be implemented with the help of the Central government".
Answering a question on TTV Dinakaran’s statement that AMMK will win all the 18 constituencies, the Minister replied that Minister Jayakumar will answer such questions.
Various Party leaders from the AIADMK and their alliance were present during the meeting.
